Walmart’s New Scheduling Scheme
After 6 years as a full-time associate and putting up with disrespect from management, being demoted from a customer service manager position with no reason or viable proof, and busting my tail to get my job done daily because I take pride in my work I was on the chopping block. Last night I was told that they do not need me in my current position and they have no hours for me because of this new home office scheduling that allows them to do whatever they want with the few associates they have left. Thanks to an assistant manager who pleaded with the store manager to make an exception with me in all these employee cuts that are happening, I still have a job. But I now worry that even with full-time status I will be getting way less than the 34 hours that they claim is full-time at Walmart. I have been scouring the website for information on labor laws in hopes to put a stop to the money games walmart is playing with it’s people. If anyone finds anything pertaining to full-time hours please post it and the site you found it. We all need to band together as family against this corporation that is taking so much from us.
