Wal-Mart is not a “family” atmosphere
Wal-Mart claims to care about its “family” but I feel like I have been kicked to the curb because of this. We have gone through management changes in the last three years and it’s not for the better. This February, I was called in the office and fired for “job performance.” I used “Open Door” policy and was returned to work after four weeks, although not in my position. They made me a cashier with very sporadic hours. I have worked very hard over the last 15 plus years. They also reduced my wages. I feel this is an injustice because they made the error not me. My evaluations for the last 16 years were perfect, 16 points out of 16 points. I want my normal job back with the wages they owe me.
