Every Associate Deserves To Be Treated With Respect!

This past summer I was employed at the Caro store in Michigan in the lawn and garden area.  After a couple of weeks I was there I had a run in with an assistant manager.  He told me to get the pricing gun to price all of the plants on that cart and place them on the table with the others.  I was getting stuff around to get it done when he turned around from what he was doing (watering plants with the hose, in my opinion he was taking a job away from another employee) and told me in a nasty way that I needed to hurry up I was not moving fast enough.  Those plants and flowers needed to be out and priced right a way.  Those plants and flowers had been on the rack for at least three days because there was not enough room for them.  I felt as though he was using my age against me.  The more I thought about it the more I got angry, so I went to another manager to talk about this matter.  It took awhile for her to get back to me, when she did she told me each flower pot did not have to be priced.  They are trying to push it under the rug,so to speak.  I tried to explain to them what he said and never got a straight answer.  Until one day I talked to my supervisor about it, we were called in the office to talk about it, he apologized but it was a round about way to make him look good.  It was not long after that, I had to quit.  I just could not take his lying any more.  It seemed like he singled me out.  I was trying to do the best I could under that kind of pressure.  There are other employees that have problems with him.  There are stories about him at other stores about how he treats other employees.  I felt as though I was discriminated against because of my age.
