- You are not allowed to get sick…I used to work for Walmart Store #1037 in summerville SC, I was recently terminated (Nov 29th 2008) because I was 1 to 3 minutes slate 3 times in 8 months. This store has issues with how they treat employees. Even though I was a Lawn and Garden sales associate, I was forced to push carts in the rain on many occasions and I was forced to use a fork lift that was unsafe to operate and without a spotter (which is company policy). I pulled the tendon in my leg pushing carts and when I asked to go to the doctor, I was written up for it because management said it was my fault.
